We met in New York City on New Year’s Eve 2020

An unexpected encounter on the last day of the year turned into one of the greatest nights of our lives, which we spent talking together long after the parties had ended. There was an immediate connection in our shared sense of curiosity about the world and desire to seek out what it has to offer.

Luckily, New York has so much to offer. We spent every weekend exploring the boroughs and streets of our favorite city on Earth. Despite the bitter cold of the New York winter, and far too many dinner dates spent in that cold, we bonded over warm food and frozen feet.

Hi, I’m Joe! I grew up in Colorado where I spent my time skiing, skateboarding, and road tripping the Western US with my family in a vintage 70’s camper van.

I graduated college in the Spring of 2019, and with no job or plan for what I wanted to do with my life, I packed up my things and drove across the country to New York. I had only been once before, but on my first trip I instantly fell in love with the energy of the city, and I was not disappointed the second time around.

Prior to us moving to London, I had spent less than a week ever outside the country, and had never been to Europe. Little did I know we would be kickstarting the great adventure of our lives! I can’t wait to document it here and share it all with you.

Hey - I’m Caroline! I grew up in Connecticut where I chased adventure by surfing, figure skating, rock climbing, and ultimately running cross country and track all the way through college.

My 7th grade art teacher told me I was made for New York City, and he was right. I moved into my first apartment weeks before graduating college in 2019.

I spent my junior fall semester abroad in Bhutan and knew I’d spend the rest of my life seeking adventure and pursuing self-growth through challenging work and travel opportunities. I made a goal to travel across Europe and backpack Thailand solo, and I am so happy that now I don’t have to!

Energized by the feeling of landing in a new country, we have committed to visiting as many countries as possible + embracing the “unexpected” along the way.
